As an advocate for children and their families, Gena provides assessments, consultations, evaluations, counseling and expert witness testimony in court. Gena has been providing expert witness testimony for more than ten (10) years on behalf of abused and neglected children. Evaluations of children with emotional, mental, and/or physical health issues are conducted with the utmost care and sensitivity to the trauma these children and their families have experienced.
According to state laws and professional ethics, Gena will report to the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services any outcry made by a child of physical or sexual abuse or neglect. Gena will comply with all state guidelines to notify and will take the necessary measures to insure the protection and safety of these children.
Gena provides support, consultation and expert witness experience to attorneys in need of these types of support. Gena functions in a collaborative capacity to these attorneys. She is available to provide a variety of services as defined below.
